The trade conflict between the US and China in 2025 goes beyond mere economic competition, triggering significant disruptions in global trade, logistics and financial systems. The Middle East, which has historically served as an energy hub and strategic trade route, is now under severe pressure that tests its socio-economic resilience in the face of global geopolitical and economic uncertainty. This paper examines the impact of the trade war and how it has triggered a structural transformation in the region, forcing countries to rethink their logistics and supply chain strategies amid highly volatile energy prices. Soaring energy prices present various challenges, but striking opportunities lie directly in accelerating the transition towards renewable energy, strengthening non-oil sectors, and enhancing cross-regional cooperation that relies on sustainability. The main conclusion is to reinforce the need for rethinking of the region's multidimensional resilience that integrates regional geo-economic competition with sustainability, cross-border infrastructure, socioeconomic innovation, and climate change policy.
