چکیده

حمایت عمومی از اقدام‌های اقلیمی، نه‌تنها به انگیزه‌ها و اطلاعات اقتصادی، بلکه به بنیان‌های اجتماعی و نهادی عمیق‌تری نیز بستگی دارد. در این پژوهش بررسی شده است که چگونه اعتماد، برداشت افراد از تغییرات اقلیمی و تمایل آن‌ها را به حمایت از سیاست‌های کاهشی شکل می‌دهد، به‌ویژه از طریق مالیات‌های محیط‌زیستی بیشتر. با استفاده از داده‌های سطح فردی از دور چهارم نظرسنجی «زندگی در گذار»، همراه با شاخص‌های اقتصاد کلان کشوری از بانک جهانی، در این تحلیل 37 کشور از 2022 تا 2023م بررسی شد. مدل‌های پایه را با استفاده از حداقل مربعات معمولی (OLS) تخمین زدیم. همة برازش‌ها بر اساس جمعیت ملی وزن‌دهی شد تا از نمایندگی بین‌کشوری اطمینان حاصل شود. یکی از سهم‌های مهم در این مطالعه، تمایز بین اعتماد تعمیم‌یافته و اعتماد نهادی چندسطحی، از جمله اعتماد به ریاست‌جمهوری، دولت مرکزی، دولت منطقه‌ای و دولت محلی است. نتایج نشان می‌دهد هر دو شکل اعتماد، به‌طور مثبت و قوی با باورهای قوی‌تر، مبتنی‌بر واقعی‌بودن تغییرات اقلیمی و بیشتر ناشی از فعالیت‌های انسانی، همچنین با تمایل بیشتر به حمایت از مالیات محیط‌زیستی مرتبط است. اعتماد نهادی، به‌طور خاص، رابطة قوی‌تری با حمایت از سیاست‌ها نشان می‌دهد و نقش محوری آن را در شکل‌دهی به پذیرش اقدام‌های اقلیمی پرهزینه از نظر مالی برجسته می‌کند. فراتر از اعتماد، بر پایة یافته‌ها، بیشتر بر اهمیت آموزش بین‌نسلی تأکید می‌شود. تحصیلات مادران ارتباط قوی‌تری با ادراک‌های اقلیمی دارد، درحالی‌که تحصیلات پدران ارتباط نزدیک‌تری را با تمایل به پرداخت هزینه برای سیاست‌های محیط‌زیستی نشان می‌دهد که معرف مسیرهای انتقال متمایز مبتنی‌بر خانواده است.
